Viewing Options
"Current" - current snapshot of the Pentacrest. This picture is not
updated automatically. Click your browser's refresh button to update
the picture.
"AutoRefresh" - current snapshot of the Pentacrest that is
automatically updated every 15 seconds.
"11am" - snapshot taken at 11am Central Time today (or the previous
day if the current time is before 11am). This view is a useful
alternative on sunny afternoons when glare disrupts the "Current"
and "AutoRefresh" images or at night time when the "Current" image
shows little detail.
"Archive" - a recent photo; an alternative to the other views when
the webcam is not operational.
Troubleshooting
Q. What web browsers work with the camera view?
A. There are no special requirements; any browser that can display
a JPEG image should be fine. You may see a slight blink on the page
if you select the "AutoRefresh" viewing option.
Q. After awhile the image doesn't change?
A. Click your browser's Refresh button to resume video updates in
"AutoRefresh" mode.
Q. I am viewing the page from off campus. I only get an initial
image and then it doesn't change.
A. Your Internet Service Provider may be caching the image. Try
holding down the Shift key and clicking Refresh.
